SURGE
Dalhousie University’s Science Innovation Sandbox
We empower Dalhousie students to tackle real-world challenges through hands-on experimentation and innovative scientific thinking.
Science Innovation Starts Here
SURGE is an innovation sandbox located in Dalhousie University's Faculty of Science, and one of 10 sandboxes across Nova Scotia. We provide hands-on opportunities for students to apply innovative scientific approaches to real-world challenges. Through weekly club-style programming, hackathons, workshops and outreach, SURGE supports students in developing the skills needed to innovate and succeed in the workforce.
Our programs are all free of cost, supported by the Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education.
