Our Carpentry Instructor Training is now open for registration! This two day workshop will take place on October 21st and 22nd. It will run from 11:00am - 7:00pm AST.

Anyone within Canada wishing to participate in this training is required to fill out the form found here!

Please note the following:

1. Participation will be capped. The exact number of participants is still being determined but something around 30 should be expected.

2. Participation will be mostly first come, first serve. Exceptions to this will be made if, for example, the cap is hit and one site has a large number of participants while another site does not have enough to successfully kickstart a training program based on The Carpentries.

3. Full participation is expected both days (you may miss no more than 1 hour of instruction). Please book the time and come prepared to participate fully. While there will be some lecture-based content this online course is significantly more interactive than many people expect.

4. The registration for this course is outside the standard process used by The Carpentries. In order for your participation in this course to count towards your certification as an instructor you will also need to fill out the form here: https://amy.carpentries.org/forms/request_training/ .
