Social Innovation Workshop Series Session 3/4

Join us for our four-week workshop series that explores topics related to social innovation. We’ll look at the challenges and opportunities facing real-world social innovators and explore tools and techniques that you can put to use when working on complex problems and creating social value.

The in-person workshop series is designed so that you can attend all sessions or just the ones that interest you most. Registration in advance is necessary so that we can ensure we adhere to public health guidelines.

All evening workshops are held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in room 2600 of the Killam Library. We’ll reach out to registered participants with instructions for how to find the space!

Session 3: Adopting tools from Design Thinking – social innovation prototypes. Design Thinking (or human centered design) is an important tool in the social innovator’s toolkit. In this workshop we’ll spend some time looking at what design thinking teaches us about experimentation and its role in discovering new and improved solutions. We’ll focus on the art and technique of storyboarding.
