Jordan Martin

Jordan has had a passion and curiosity for the ocean since she was a young girl. Moving from Ontario, she completed a BSc Co-op degree with Combined Honors in Marine Biology and Environment, Sustainability and Society (ESS), and then a Master’s of Marine Management degree within the Marine Affairs Program, both from Dalhousie University. Her program focused on fisheries management and she wrote a graduate research project assessing the herring fishery in the Bay of Fundy. Prior to SURGE, Jordan worked with the World Wildlife Fund and the Fishermen and Science Research Society. With SURGE, Jordan is responsible for organizing events, communications, facilitating and management of the sandbox.
