Pyon Electric

Pyon Electric develops unique Battery Management Systems (BMS), both the hardware and software. A BMS manages how batteries handle their charge: when to charge and discharge, how much energy to charge and discharge, changing these parameters based on environmental and situational factors, and much more. Pyon Electric has already developed a BMS for use in electric vehicles, which is a rapidly growing market. The skill set of the Pyon team also allows us to develop tailor-made BMSs for companies on a case by case basis, allowing us to produce a BMS which will provide superior performance than off-the-shelf alternatives. Along with being a residence team within the SURGE program Pyon Electric is also a resident company within the Emera ideaHUB, where you can often find them testing their designs in the electronics lab.
