Join us for our four-week workshop series that explores topics related to social innovation. We’ll look at the challenges and opportunities facing real-world social innovators and explore tools and techniques that you can put to use when working on complex problems and creating social value.
The in-person workshop series is designed so that you can attend all sessions or just the ones that interest you most. Registration in advance is necessary so that we can ensure we adhere to public health guidelines.
All evening workshops are held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in room 2600 of the Killam Library. We’ll reach out to registered participants with instructions for how to find the space!
Session 1: Spotlight: Understanding the actors and dynamics of social innovation ecosystems. Social innovation is rarely an individual effort! In this workshop we’ll explore the important roles that different actors from different sectors play in fostering social innovation. Government, community groups, start-ups, academic institutions and corporations can all have a role in designing and implementing impactful solutions.
