Join us for our four-week workshop series that explores topics related to social innovation. We’ll look at the challenges and opportunities facing real-world social innovators and explore tools and techniques that you can put to use when working on complex problems and creating social value.
The in-person workshop series is designed so that you can attend all sessions or just the ones that interest you most. Registration in advance is necessary so that we can ensure we adhere to public health guidelines.
All evening workshops are held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in room 2600 of the Killam Library. We’ll reach out to registered participants with instructions for how to find the space!
Session 4: Social value vs and business case. Social innovation places an imperative on the creation of social value for individuals, communities and broader society. There is a tendency to present the pursuit of social value as being at odds with the business viability of an idea. In this workshop we’ll look at how social innovators reconcile these two competing ideas.
